Rev. Dr. Don Sinclair served as senior pastor at Bering Memorial from 1986 – 1996. Don and his wife, Kathy, arrived at a struggling church that was $70,000 in debt, with membership dwindling as families moved to the suburbs, in a neighborhood in transition and in the epicenter of the AIDS crisis, as they were dealing with a crisis in their own family. The murder of their son.
